Designed to go down the ages, it will show the precise date until 2100 (which will not be a leap year due to an idiosyncrasy of the Gregorian calendar established 1582.) In February 2100, the owner of the watch will need to reset the date manually by one day. The wheel which actuates the major hand takes four years to complete a full turn! |
